August Updates

Another month has passed! Today is not only National Day, but Kai's 26th month! July has been a sickly month for the family. It first started with Yong Sheng, who vomited in school and was suspected of having stomach flu. A week later, Kai got the vomiting and fever syndrome for few days. Although this little chap was sick, he was as mischievous as ever. He is able to speak in full sentences when he needs something or some help from us. For example, he will say: " I want to watch High 5!" or whenever the food he eats is tasty, he will say:" Hmmm, nice! good!" Not long after Kai's illness, I myself got gastric and felt body aching all over. Yong Kang got high fever on Friday and he insisted in going for the swimming carnival. I made him take panadol before proceeding to the swimming meet. Although he got a silver medal but the price was high. He suffered a high temperature and bad cough and flu for 2 days. Luckily, his fever subsided and is able to do some of his homework today. Hopefully he can complete all his school work tomorrow and do some revision. We will be heading to Lilian's place later. She invited us over for a gathering as we've not been seeing each other for more than a month. Today's gathering will be just we, the 3 sisters and family (Kenneth is still in the states). The highlights for tonight will be the fireworks after the National Day Celebration. Hopefully we can catch a glimpse of the fireworks among the highrise buildings of CBD area. Looking forward to going Lian's house later. so much for now....
