Kai is 18 months!

Haven't been updating my blog since Nov.  Today's the 9th and it means our Kai Kai is another month older.  Eversince this ah boy started to walk, he's explored every corner and every item in the house!  His favourite place is our kitchen.  He'd "check" MIL's grocery bags and turn the oven's knob, open the drawers and rush to the fridge whenever we open the fridge.  Our toilets' doors have to be kept close at all times too! I have to resort to using the cane ( of course not really canning him la) to warn him for his misbehaviours.  Kai's 2-syllabus vocab has increased tremendously--he can say words like open, apple, ah bao, pliss (please), gong gong and mama etc.  Have been trying to capture him doing his "belly dance", so be patient!  End of Nov till last week has been very taxing for us as Kai contracted HFMD from my niece.  He developed high fever for 2 days and spots on his feet and palms.  Lost his appetite for few days because of ulcers in his mouth. Luckily, he recovered fast and is now a happy boy again.   We are looking forward to this Sunday's 18th month's Bash where Kai will meet his little friends again.
