As promised, this is part II of the story. The wedding banquet was abit chaotic, thanks to my MIL la. She memorised all her guests' seating arrangements and did not tell anybody who sits where. So when the guests arrived during the cocktail reception, she was busy socializing or showing off her jewellery. FIL did remind her about the arrangement but she simply boh chap. Then after complains from some elderlys--they can't stand for too long, the ballroom was opened for guests to sit. Meng and I tried to help usher her guests but she couldn't tell us their table number instantly! I think she was going crazy liao. Suddenly,she said one of her tables had gone missing! To our horror, her VIP--baboon's ILs arrived, when they reached, MIL still cannot locate their table. We were so ambarassed because they went out of the ballroom after knowing that they have no where to sit. As they were out, my parents arrived. I simply ushered them to sit on an empty table and invited baboon's ILs to sit together too. MIL nearly went hysterical because her friends' table has gone "missing". Meng thought that's not possible because there are no missing tables. She kept saying that have to open up the spare table, ask my parents to sit there! I was very angry because that spare table was at one dark corner of the ballroom! Luckily ee gu came to our rescue, she found empty sits here and there so she arrranged for MIL's friend to split up and be seated separately. In the end, no need to use the spare table!
