Just came back from chalet at The Chervons. It was indeed a short break for me because I spent most of the days in school during the 1 week holidays and was left with only Friday to "rest". We checked in to the the chalet in the afternoon and started swimming in the evening. The water was warm and swmimming in the sunset was wonderful! After the swim, we went for food, it was barbeque time! My kids enjoyed the session not because of the food, but chasing the rats away. Our barbeque pit was near a slope and the hungry rats climbed up after smelling food! After eating, the adults played mahjong and the kids went to sleep after watching TV programme. The next day, we started the day by having half-boiled eggs and bread for breakfast and the kids can't wait to go to the arcade for games. Meng and I together with my mum went to IMM to get somemore food for the evening. When we returned to the chalet, we were relieved to find out that the management actually reserved parking lots for us because the whole carpark was full. They were having their Annual GSM on that day. Talking abt the GSM, it was a little suprise for my kids because they get to enjoy free ice-creams, free car rides and free games with prizes! We swam in the evening and started our barbequing later. We didn't quite enjoy the evening because our "neighbours" had such a huge group of guests and they dominated the whole pit area. Infact they were scheming to take over our barbeque pit but we told them that we are using it! The kids and I slept early while Meng played mahjong with my parents and mum's friend. After breakfast today, Meng and I took our barang barang home while the kids were having their swimming lesson. For the 1st time, they were early for their lesson! We were informed that both Kang and Di got promoted to the next level and we were elated! Left Chervons at 12noon and went IMM for lunch afterwhich we went to water plants again. WE sent my parents home and had a long nap at their place. We left after dinner and got home to prepare my sons for school re-opening tomorrow. As usual, Kang got last minute homework and I didn't have the energy to scold him liao. Ok, so much for now, going to iron my clothes. Will update photos taken at the chalet when I recieve from Lian.
